The drug war in Mexico continues to threaten our borders and today news reports show that Americans are supplying the weapons used in the violence that has claimed 33,000 plus lives in the past five years.

Texas needs to protect it border, as does, all of the States bordering Mexico.

We have to get tougher on illegal aliens crossing the border and we have to get even tougher on drug dealers and their violent ways.

Gov. Rick Perry and the Legislature need to enact new laws to protect us from this plague that has swept Mexico and has crossed the border into the U.S. And these laws along with existing laws need to be enforced.

Zero tolerence.

There are many new proposals to give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens in this country and every one of them is wrong.
I am all for any person who comes to this country legally. People who have followed our laws and have come through the process to make this country their new home, but I, and millions of Americans agree, am not for those who come to this country through the back door to grab what they can and send it back to there home country. Those are the same people who waves the flags of other countries while they march to protest our immigration laws.
More than 11 percent of the Mexican population now lives in the United States with nearly 12 million of those being illegal aliens.
Enough is enough.
It is time that the U.S. government enforce the laws to protect our country and rid our land of ALL illegal aliens.

Election Follies

We have been tortured by endless debates and endless predictions about who will be our next president. It is time for the pundints to shut up and let the American people vote. There are still more than twenty primaries to be held and hundreds, even thousands of delegates to be won. Let's just vote and see who is left standing.
